A Bomba de Engrenagem Rickmeier é equipamento que convertem energia mecânica proveniente de um motor em energia hidráulica para fluidos pressurizados, podendo aumentar sua velocidade com o objetivo de realizar o deslocamento de um líquido dentro do sistema hidráulico.
Gear pumps consist of a casing with inlet and outlet cavities, a pumping mechanism normally consisting of two gears, special bearings, seals and other mounting parts. The motor gear is connected to the motor shaft, the other gear is moved by the fitting between them both.
The mechanical action creates a partial vacuum at the pump inlet, allowing atmospheric pressure to force fluid from the tank, through the suction line, to flow. The gears transport the fluid to the outlet opening, forcing it under pressure through the hydraulic system.
